Ollie Hill-Haimes
Sales Director, AMVIA
Professional Biography
Ollie Hill-Haimes is Sales Director at AMVIA, responsible for new client acquisition, commercial partnerships, and vendor management. He works with businesses across the UK to understand their connectivity, communications, and IT challenges — and to build proposals that are honest about what AMVIA can and cannot deliver.
Ollie joined the technology sector as a connectivity specialist, working with carriers and resellers on business broadband, leased line, and SD-WAN solutions before broadening into full managed IT services. That background gives him a technical depth that is unusual in a sales function — he is comfortable discussing circuit types, SLA tiers, and failover configurations with IT managers as well as presenting commercial summaries to finance directors and boards.
His specialisms within AMVIA's portfolio are business connectivity and VoIP phone systems. He leads AMVIA's relationships with its primary carrier partners, including CityFibre, BT Wholesale, and several alternative network providers, and manages the multi-carrier comparison approach that allows AMVIA to source genuinely competitive leased line and broadband pricing for clients.
On the VoIP side, Ollie has overseen deployments of hosted telephony and Microsoft Teams calling for SMEs ranging from 10 to 300 users. He understands both the technical requirements and the organisational change management that successful telephony migrations require.
Outside AMVIA, Ollie is engaged with the UK channel partner community and regularly attends vendor partner events and channel forums. He believes strongly in transparency in technology sales — clients should always understand what they are buying and why.
