Professional Biography
Nathan Hill-Haimes serves as Technical Director at AMVIA, responsible for the overall technical architecture of services delivered to clients, the cybersecurity strategy that underpins them, and the ongoing development of AmviaIQ — AMVIA's proprietary IT monitoring and management platform.
Nathan's background spans enterprise IT architecture, security operations, and cloud platform engineering. Before joining AMVIA, he worked as a senior consultant and solutions architect for clients in financial services, professional services, and retail — giving him direct experience of the security and compliance pressures that SMEs in those sectors face.
His deep expertise in Microsoft 365 makes him the primary authority at AMVIA on tenant configuration, identity security (Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA), compliance features, and the integration of Microsoft's security stack into managed service delivery. He led the technical design of AMVIA's Microsoft 365 onboarding methodology, which is now used for all new client deployments.
Nathan conceived and continues to lead the development of AmviaIQ, AMVIA's monitoring platform that provides real-time endpoint visibility, proactive alerting, and automated remediation across client environments. The platform reflects his belief that good IT support must be anticipatory rather than reactive.
He holds a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification and a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) qualification, and maintains active involvement in UK cybersecurity communities including the NCSC's Cyber Security Information Sharing Partnership (CiSP).
